# Operator Set

Liquid Staking Protocols do not have the task of validating blockchains, this is the responsibility of their operator set. 

This selected set of validators should be as diversified as possible and offer a high degree of reliability. Depending on the performance, the staking apr of the liquid staking token is determined.
