# Security Setup

Trust is one of the key decision factors for investors choosing a suitable staking service for their collateral.

Even while most delegations are non-custodial, there are certain standards that we expect Verified Staking Providers to follow, in order to provide resilient, and consistent services.

Some of the factors that we will look into include:

* Key management
* Security Standards
* Certifications for the Staking Service
* Alerting Systems 
* Redundancy of the Provider’s validator nodes.
