The SRB reward rate for Stride SRB is a benchmark that represents the mean, annualized staking rate across all active STRIDE validators.

Stride SRB is calculated and published by Staking Rewards via the Stride Asset profile and Staking Data API.

Formula key	Metric name	Description
bp	Block Provision	Blocks Provision is calculated by "annual provisions / blocks_per_year", whereas the annual provision is recalculated by the stride protocol each block according to inflation parameters, and the blocks_per_year is a constant parameter set by stride governance.
abt	Block Time	The average block time over the last 24 hours. Note, that this number often differs significantly from the expected block time.
df	Daily Fees	The total number of STRIDE tokens paid as transaction fees in the last 24 hours.
lp	Liquid Staking Provisions	Share of the LST fees that goes to the Stride Stakers in the respective token.
ct	Community Tax	Community Tax is the percentage of inflation rewards and fees that are sent to the community pool at each block. The constant parameter is set by STRIDE governance.
st	Staked Tokens	The total number of STRIDE tokens bonded with active, non-jailed validators.

Stride has introduced a system whereby stakers receive fees from LSTs in addition to block commissions and daily fees. The reward structure and fee schedule can be adjusted by the governance community, indicating a flexible approach to managing market dynamics and user behavior.

• Stride SRB takes into account all accumulated rewards, whether they have been claimed or remain unclaimed.

• StrideSRB operates on a non-compounded basis, meaning it excludes returns generated from the reinvestment of rewards.

• Stride SRB is based on an assumption of 100% validator efficiency. For a CSRR adjusted according to individual validator performance, please refer to CSRR(v).

Slashing

1. Stride SRB does not factor in the possibility of slashing occurrences.

2. It's important to note that if validator entities face slashing, rewards will increase, as the slashed STRIDE token are reallocated among validators.

Stride Validator Staking Rewards Rate: SRB(v)

Staking Rewards calculates the Stride SRB for each validator based on their individual performance and commission rate.

cr	Commission Rate	The percentage commission rate the validator has set as a delegation fee for all delegators.

Observation Period:

1. The Stride SRB is determined based on the latest generated block at the point of evaluation.

2. This data is then annualized for a comprehensive year-long projection.

Calculation

The calculation happens every 2 hours and is immediately published via Staking Data API.

Limitations

1. SRB employs a 365-day convention for annualizing current block provisions and daily fees. This convention remains consistent and does not accommodate adjustments for leap years.

The real reward rate calculates the SRB adjusted for inflation in the network.
