# C4E SRB

C4ESRB is a benchmark representing the mean, annualized staking rate across all active Chain4Energy validators.

C4ESRB is calculated and published by Staking Rewards via the [Chain4Energy Profile](https://www.stakingrewards.com/asset/chain4energy) and [Data API](https://www.stakingrewards.com/data-api).

> **TL;DR:** Chain4Energy staking rewards follow the Cosmos SDK formula (ATOMSRB): annual provisions plus annualized fees, minus community tax, divided by total staked C4E tokens. Validator-level rates factor in performance and commission.

{% hint style="info" %}
The calculations are derived from the ATOMSRB documentation, serving as the foundational reference to ensure the accuracy of relevant metrics.

For more information visit the [ATOMSRB docs](https://docs.stakingrewards.com/staking-data/methodologies/cosmos-hub-srb).

### C4E Validator Staking Rewards Rate: C4ESRB(v)

Staking Rewards calculates the C4ESRB for each validator based on their individual performance and commission rate.

$$
C4ESRB(v) = ATOMSRB(v)

### C4E Real Reward Rate: C4ESRB^R

The real reward rate calculates the C4ESRB adjusted for inflation in the network.

$$
C4ESRB^R = ATOMSRB^R
$$

**Inflation Rate Behavior**

* C4E's inflation involves an initial emission of 40 million tokens over the first 4 years. After this period, the number of tokens available to mint will halve every 4 years. Currently, the inflation is lowered to 8M/year for the starting period.

### Other C4E metrics calculated by Staking Rewards

<table><thead><tr><th width="188">Metric</th><th>Description</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Delegated Tokens</td><td>The number of tokens delegated to validators.</td></tr><tr><td>Self Staked Tokens</td><td>The number of tokens staked by validators directly.</td></tr><tr><td>Staking Wallets</td><td>This metric refers to the total quantity of distinct delegations made. It doesn't distinguish based on unique delegator addresses and excludes considerations of any minimum delegation thresholds.</td></tr></tbody></table>
