Sei Network Staking Rewards Benchmark (SEISRB™) Methodology

SEISRB is a benchmark representing the mean, annualized staking rate across all active Sei Network validators.

SEISRB is calculated and published by Staking Rewards via the Sei Network Profile and Staking Data API.

The calculations are derived from the ATOMSRB documentation, serving as the foundational reference to ensure the accuracy of relevant metrics.

SEI Staking Rewards Rate: SEISRB

SEISRB = ATOMSRB

SEI Validator Staking Rewards Rate: SEISRB(v)

Staking Rewards calculates the SEISRB for each validator based on their individual performance and commission rate.

SEISRB(v) = ATOMSRB(v)

SEI Real Reward Rate: SEISRB^R

The real reward rate calculates the SEISRB adjusted for inflation in the network.

SEISRB^R = ATOMSRB^R

Inflation Rate Behavior

The Sei protocol incentivizes validators and delegators with staking rewards from gas fees and inflation rewards. Fees and inflation rewards are distributed to validators and their delegators proportionally to their staked amount.

Delegated Tokens

The number of tokens delegated to validators.

Self Staked Tokens

The number of tokens staked by validators directly.

Staking Wallets

This metric refers to the total quantity of distinct delegations made. It doesn't distinguish based on unique delegator addresses and excludes considerations of any minimum delegation thresholds.
