💉Injective SRB

Learn how Injective staking rewards are calculated. INJSRB uses the Cosmos SDK formula with annual provisions, fees, community tax, and staked INJ tokens.

INJSRB is a benchmark representing the mean, annualized staking rate across all active Injective validators.

INJSRB is calculated and published by Staking Rewards via the Injective Profile and Data API.

TL;DR: Injective staking rewards follow the Cosmos SDK formula (ATOMSRB): annual provisions plus annualized fees, minus community tax, divided by total staked INJ tokens. Validator-level rates factor in performance and commission.

The calculations are derived from the ATOMSRB documentation, serving as the foundational reference to ensure the accuracy of relevant metrics.

INJ Validator Staking Rewards Rate: INJSRB(v)

Staking Rewards calculates the INJSRB for each validator based on their individual performance and commission rate.

INJ Real Reward Rate: INJSRB^R

The real reward rate calculates the INJSRB adjusted for inflation in the network.

Inflation Rate Behavior

  • The INJ token inflation adjusts supply rates based on the network's bonded percentage. If it's below the target, the supply rate increases to encourage staking. If it's above, the rate decreases to balance the system. This dynamic ensures the network remains stable and responsive by incentivizing staking or unbonding as needed.

Other Injective metrics calculated by Staking Rewards

Metric
Description

Delegated Tokens

The number of tokens delegated to validators.

Self Staked Tokens

The number of tokens staked by validators directly.

Staking Wallets

This metric refers to the total quantity of distinct delegations made. It doesn't distinguish based on unique delegator addresses and excludes considerations of any minimum delegation thresholds.
