# Onomy SRB

NOMSRB is a benchmark representing the mean, annualized staking rate across all active Onomy Protocol validators.

NOMSRB is calculated and published by Staking Rewards via the [Onomy Protocol Profile](https://www.stakingrewards.com/asset/onomy-protocol) and [Data API](https://www.stakingrewards.com/data-api).

> **TL;DR:** Onomy Protocol staking rewards follow the Cosmos SDK formula (ATOMSRB): annual provisions plus annualized fees, minus community tax, divided by total staked NOM tokens. Validator-level rates factor in performance and commission.

{% hint style="info" %}
The calculations are derived from the ATOMSRB documentation, serving as the foundational reference to ensure the accuracy of relevant metrics.

For more information visit the [ATOMSRB docs](https://docs.stakingrewards.com/staking-data/methodologies/cosmos-hub-srb).

### NOM Validator Staking Rewards Rate: NOMSRB(v)

Staking Rewards calculates the NOMSRB for each validator based on their individual performance and commission rate.

$$
NOMSRB(v) = ATOMSRB(v)

### NOM Real Reward Rate: NOMSRB^R

The real reward rate calculates the NOMSRB adjusted for inflation in the network.

$$
NOMSRB^R = ATOMSRB^R

**Inflation Rate Behavior**

* The target NOM inflation is between 7-20%, being at the lower end of the range when most NOM is staked and the higher end of the range when less NOM is staked. Inflation is offset by various sinks in the Onomy Ecosystem - one in particular being the Buy & Burn from exchange fees as detailed in this documentation.

<table><thead><tr><th width="188">Metric</th><th>Description</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Delegated Tokens</td><td>The number of tokens delegated to validators.</td></tr><tr><td>Self Staked Tokens</td><td>The number of tokens staked by validators directly.</td></tr><tr><td>Staking Wallets</td><td>This metric refers to the total quantity of distinct delegations made. It doesn't distinguish based on unique delegator addresses and excludes considerations of any minimum delegation thresholds.</td></tr></tbody></table>
